Apple has confirmed that its highly anticipated iPhone 17 event will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. Invitations have already been sent out, with the launch scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
This year, Apple is expected to introduce three iPhone 17 models. Reports suggest the company may replace the Plus variant with an all-new iPhone 17 Air, which could feature a slim 5.5 mm body paired with a 6.6-inch display—making it Apple’s thinnest iPhone to date. The base iPhone 17 will reportedly get a 6.3-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a significant leap from previous 60Hz panels.
Alongside the iPhones, Apple is preparing updates across its product ecosystem. The Apple Watch Series 11, SE 3, and the standout Apple Watch Ultra 3 are expected to debut, with the Ultra model rumored to include a larger screen and faster charging.
Apple may also unveil the long-awaited AirPods Pro 3, arriving three years after the last Pro model. Early leaks suggest a compact redesign, a new chip for enhanced noise cancellation, and touch-sensitive controls for more intuitive use.
With major updates spanning smartphones, wearables, and audio, Apple’s iPhone 17 event promises to be one of the most exciting tech showcases of the year.
